For quite some time, my heart has been captivated by the world of natural hair care. Crown, a dedicated natural hair company catering to curly hair, stands proudly as the culmination of this passion. Committed to the well-being of our customers, our products are free from sulfates and harsh chemicals, promising a truly wholesome experience for their precious curls.

Throughout the journey of crafting Crown, I yearned for authenticity and realism. My vision was to create a product line that seamlessly blends into store shelves alongside other natural hair treasures. To bring this vision to life, I meticulously designed the packaging with a natural, earthy aesthetic. Employing earth tones and handcrafted drawings, I ensured that each element of Crown's packaging resonated with nature's beauty and simplicity.

With an unwavering focus on quality and creativity, the tools I designed were Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe XD. The result is a stunning array of products that truly embrace the beauty of curly hair and the world of natural hair care.

Johnson & Wales Senior Showcase Spring 2023

I am so inspired by this work. After graduating in December, I wasn't sure if I wanted to come back for the senior show, but after further consideration, I decided to return to Johnson & Wales for the 2023 Reveal.

I am so happy I did! I joined many of the senior Class of 2023 Graphic Designers to highlight our work and meet community members. While I showcased my entire portfolio, Crown was an older project from my Brand Identity & Development class. This is one of my favorite projects, and it resonated with me as I had to learn to embrace my natural curls.
